
Dr. Hannah Jurewicz, PsyD
Chief Clinical Officer
Hannah Jurewicz holds a Doctor of Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She provides consultation, counseling, and training based on over 30 years of personal and professional experience, specializing in treating addiction and mental health. She is co-founder of Journey Home Recovery Living, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery through providing sober housing, community education, and advocacy. Dr. Hannah provides psychotherapy through her private practice. She holds certifications in co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, and family trauma treatment.
Hannah is the co-creator of Recovery Move™, an exercise and recovery program designed to use the health benefits of exercise and peer-led recovery meetings to help address anxiety, COVID fatigue, substance abuse, physical abuse, loss or depression, along with any of life’s challenges. This program was expanded to include yoga and equine therapy with local nonprofit organizations in the community.
In 2013, Hannah developed a first-of-its-kind 24-hour, recovery-oriented clinical approach to support those with intellectual disabilities and substance use disorders. She authored The Challenged Addict: Recovery with Concurring Developmental Disorders, Living with Disabilities series, and The Courage to Lead: Start Your Own Support Group. She has been published in “The Journal of Addiction and Addictive Disorders”, “Brain Injury”, “The Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling”, and the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed.
